Peedie Hoose (Orcadian for small house) is situated in the parish of Firth in the centre of the main island and its central location ensures easy access for all sightseeing on the mainland of Orkney. Although named Peedie Hoose after the former house that occupied the site, Peedie Hoose is really quite spacious. It has two bedrooms sleeping 4, two bathrooms – one an ensuite shower room and the main bathroom which has a Jacuzzi bath installed.

We are a working farm raising prime Orkney beef cattle. You will see them in the fields all around the house and as they are friendly creatures, they will probably come to have a look at you as well.

Built to the highest standards, Peedie Hoose offers spacious accommodation for up to four people. The house is heated by an air-source heat pump which is housed in the shed at the back of the house. The ground floor has under-floor heating and the upstairs is heated by radiators. The upstairs is floored with oak whilst the downstairs is either carpeted or tiled. The quality furnishings in this accommodation are complimented by the local artwork on the walls.

Ground floor
With under floor heating throughout, you will always be warm and comfortable.

so if cooking is your hobby, you will be well catered for.
There is also a microwave, table and chairs and a coffee machine.

Hall
There is a washing machine and tumble dryer housed in a hall cupboard.

Main bathroom
The downstairs bathroom features a Jacuzzi bath complete with changing colour lights. This offers our guests a chance to unwind and relax. This bathroom has access either from the hall or from the master bedroom.

Master Bedroom
Along with the king-sized bed, there is a wall mounted TV with built-in DVD player, fitted mirrored wardrobes and sea views.

First Floor

Lounge
The upstairs lounge has surround windows with spectacular views over the sea to the front and the hills to the rear. The lounge catches the sun both in the morning and the evening due to its triple aspect windows and offers guests the chance to unwind and relax in comfort whilst viewing the beautiful surrounding scenery, the incredible skies and sunsets. There is a 32" TV with built-in DVD player There is also a selection of books, games and DVDs

Twin bedroom
Twin beds and an ensuite shower room - featuring a rain shower head. Along with twin beds, there is a wall mounted TV with built-in DVD player, fitted mirrored wardrobes and sea views.

Other information
All bedding and electricity are provided free of charge. Enjoy the use of the garden area to the front of the house – and plenty of parking space for your cars. Strictly no smoking inside the house. As Peedie Hoose is situated in farmland pets are, unfortunately, not allowed.
